I'd give 3.5 stars if I could. This place was okay. The "wrapito" was tasty but the salsa/sauce bar looked a little dodgy with dressings that looked like they'd been sitting out too long. Washrooms not the cleanest, but this place was a better choice that Subway or BK.

The service here SUCKS! They're so unfriendly and almost mean. They give you nasty looks and have a horrible attitude. I don't understand why anyone would hire unfriendly people. Other locations have nicer staff. The food isn't too bad, the staff is though. Go to a different location!

Nothing about this place was good. Chicken was cold and tough, plantains were dry and hard, black beans weren't good. Never again

If your looking for a dirty, disgusting place to eat this place is for you! The tables, floor and food prep areas are always dirty. I'm also pretty sure that bubbles in your salsa means its fermenting. The chop-chop (bowl of rice, chicken ad veggies) tastes OK. But it's 50/50 that I can make it home in time. I used to enjoy this place... but the overall cleanliness of this chain has gone way down over the years and I just don't trust the safety of their food anymore. :(

The staff is there for a check. No forks readily available and sauce area completely empty and they serve cold chicken, really??? There was a time I looked down on Pollo for coming out with the TropiChop but that's the only "chop" I'll be getting from here on out.

Ducked in to get some Yard Bird to GO! I'd not patronized one of these joints in many moons. Good stuff, here's why: * The hottie tanning salon girl was out front pacing and yacking on her phone! * Good stuff! Especially the curry mustard sauce. SCORE! * Chicken Chop Chop is a hit! In and out, 2 full meals, a brownie, and a coldy Sprite all for under $20. Cabeza OUT!

I usually love Chicken Kitchen, however, this was the worst experience I have ever had. I will never return to this location again. They had no beans for the Mexican Chop Chop. I ordered my daughter a quesadilla, they used a teaspoon of cheddar cheese and then the manager filled the rest with grated Parmesan cheese. She served something that I would not feed my dog. I simple "sorry, we are out of cheese" would have don't the job. The plantains were dry and hard. The salsa had a brown tint to it. I hope the owners monitor these comments.

Not bad, but not great. The food here is consistently good, I usually get the Mexican chop chop which is delicious. Any of the chop chops will do the trick. And the portions are very satisfying. The service is average, the women behind the counter are not that fast, I usually am waiting 5-10 minutes for my food. The place is pretty clean, I always see people cleaning up tables. The one thing that I really didnt like, which could totally be me, is the smell. It usually smells like cleaning solution every time I come here which forces me to take my food to go. Maybe you won't smell it but it is very overbearing for me every time I come here. Overall I would say check it out because the chop chops make it worth it.

I love chicken kitchen, the food is always great but wasn't very pleased today... I got the mexican chop chop but it was missing the guacamole and pita bread... It was hot and there were flies and knats by the soda machine.. Not very clean either

Chicken Kitchen is my one of my favorite fast food restaurants. Amazing and delicious great quality food! I highly recommend ordering the Mexican Chop Chop.

The food is consistent- with that said, the chicken is always a little dry. Over all just a pleasant place for a chicken chop.

This is the WORST chicken kitchen location yet. The staff is unfriendly, they barely speak a word of English, have unsanitary habits and skimp on the food they give you because their supply is always low. And have the nerve to upcharge you for nonsense. Wow! I will never return to this establishment. Don't eat here.

Although I do enjoy their pita pockets (the only reason I was nice enough to give 2 stars), I have to agree with some of the other comments regarding service. While chopping the chicken for my meal, the guy accidentally dropped the knife on the floor. He promptly picked it up, placed it in the corner of the counter and replaced it with another one (which happened to be sitting in the same location he picked up the new one from). My first thought was "Why wouldn't he have put it in the sink", but I let it go assuming he would do it later. As the line began to grow a lady came from the back to help with making orders. I was appalled to see her pick up the knife that had just left the floor and start chopping chicken for the customer next to me. What bothered me even more is that the man preparing my food didn't stop her! Of course, me being me, I kindly reminded the man preparing my meal that the knife his coworker was using was just on the floor and made sure the customer heard me as well. They started speaking Spanish among each other which really pissed me off as I always find this to be rude. You both were speaking perfect English with your customers before. Why the sudden change??? At this point there had to be at least 5 other customers in line and instead of going to wash the knife, she waits for the man preparing my food to be done and takes his! The joke is, both knives were probably dirty being they take no initiative to promptly clean their cutlery. I'm sure after I left, they went back to using the same knife without ever washing it as it was still sitting on the counter when I walked out. Needless to say Chicken Kitchen, I'm not impressed.

An hour before closing and they ran out of chicken...enough said! Grill and all prep stations being cleaned, why not just close the store an hour early instead and save people the trip.

I hate when places like this have the "tip" line when you pay with credit card. It's not that I don't like to tip, but seriously, the staff shouldn't have an extra tip. They don't serve you, they don't (technically) take your order and they shouldn't clean your table after - come on people, throw away your own trash. So yea, I always kick myself for not paying in cash as I hate to scratch out the tip section. It makes me feel like a douche, but really, I shouldn't. Should I? Chicken Kitchen is one of those things I can eat every day. I (try to) recreate it at home all the time - I mean it's essentially just chicken, rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese......BUT..then there is .... THAT SAUCE. I can't recreate that. So my home version always falls flat. So while we all know what the "secret sauce" (the sauce, duh) is to their success, it's impossible to recreate. I always go with a Mexican Chop Chop on yellow rice. Man, I love yellow rice. While this brand is fairly consistent when it comes to the food, it's always down to the staff to make the other elements right. The staff here is a little hit or miss. Sometimes they are nice - other days the seem to care less. I've seen the place spotless - but I've also seen the place a disaster. My last trip I noticed that even though the place was empty - it was still pretty messy. Spilled sauces by the sauce bar. Cup lids all disorganized. Straw wrappers all over the place. I've only sat in once, and even that time the table was a bit dirty and we had to wipe it down to sit. Every other time I've just taken it to go.

Don't go to this place! I love Chicken Kitchen but this one is aweful! I went there and ordered a Mexican without rice I was instantly informed that I would only get the small portion of lettuce unless I pay extra because they don't substitute the rice, so they are ripping me off then I asked for sauce for each meal and was informed again that it was $1. a sauce, the service was horrible, unfriendly and down right mean. They are so ready to nickel and dime you and measure the chicken to a tee, but then they don't even give you the ingredients that are on the meal, they never gave me the guacamole. Go anywhere else but here!

Chicken Teriyaki is pretty good, some pieces are better then others and just can be inconsistent. Sometimes I go and I'm like, WOW I want this tomorrow.. Then I go the next day and it's just not the same. I'm a fan of curry sauce, I like to put it on everything.. Combined with the Chicken Teriyaki, creates a nice meal.. When they're on their game.

These places are disappearing fast, so if you find one that is good, you need to let people know so that they will go there. This one is pretty good! They handled a busy lunch crowd well (could have been a bit faster). Food was tastie and fresh. Resturant was clean and staff was about cleaning and turning over tables quickley.

I liked this places food. It was a nice change of pace from the usual Panera or Subway that I get for lunch. I got a Mexican chop-chop. And at first I didn't understand what a chop-chop was - it's a bowl of rice, with chopped chicken and some other toppings. I think price-wise, it wasn't that different than Chipotle and I think the chicken was better and the toppings fresher. Service: I thought it was fine. They were fast and as friendly as could be expected. However, we called about delivery and they said no and then hung up. That's terrible, especially since the menu we had did say they deliver.

I go to this Chicken Kitchen because I have no other ones near me. I like Chicken Kitchen, but I don't like this particular one - I've been to better. Food: Their chicken is awfully tough for being grilled. And their portion sizing is absurd. They really slice through a single chicken breast to get the most out of it to the point where it's more pieces than anything else. Restaurant: There is this awful smell if you sit in the section where the cushioned seating. It's just the worst built-in smell you can imagine. There are way better Chicken Kitchens in Broward.

So I have to admit, cost factors a lot into my reviews. That being said, here's why I give the Kitchen of Chicken 3 stars... Their rice is delicious. Their chicken is never dry. They always have fresh toppings. Their pita is never stale. They have Diet Coke on tap. Bowls, wraps, or salads, it's always good. But why 3 stars then Marc? Two reasons: 1. I dunno if they do this at every Chicken Kitchen, but at the one I frequent, they seriously measure out a cup of chicken to put on my rice. Really? A cup of chicken? I know you aren't doing bad on business because... 2. $8+ for a bowl of rice and chicken. That's the regular size might I add. I love Chicken Kitchen and I will continue to go for lunch, but I will never ever be happy about forking over that kinda dough for a cup of chicken.

I have been coming here for years. The management has changed and so is the portions. I always get the mexican chop chop with curry mustard. Its soo good and healthy. I absolutely love their curry mustard sauce.

Employee's were very rude and portion sized changed. I ordered a deluxe chop and she put one spoon size ( an actual spoon you eat with) of lettuce. I ask for her to put more lettuce and she charged me for extra lettuce. I was very disappointed. This chicken kitchen has never done this to me.

Good fresh wraps, salads and chicken entrees. Affordable with good size portions and fairly healthy.

Great Cuban chop chop... Sauces are great and staff is fast and friendly. They are not cheap on adding extra lettuce or tomatoes like other locations!

I can't remember if this is the actual one I went to since we walked but I am guessing most of these are pretty similar. We stopped in to Chicken Kitchen since the name was funky and the only other two options were Burger King and Subway, both National chains, so we opted for the local chain instead. We all got the Cuban Chop Chop and it was pretty damn filling. You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck here and the food is pretty clean tasting for quick serve eats. Interior is basic and no frills but hey if you are at this particular one then I'm 99% sure you aren't looking for frills. I'd hit it again if I was in the area and looking for a quick, cheap meal...

Great quick food that can be healthy!! They have great meals that are based around either a chicken breast or chicken.. It's not overly marinated so you are not overwhelmed by the flavor. It has just enough to make a great tasting chicken.. Try their lunch specials, I get the rice and beans with the chicken breast and their famous salsa and mustard curry sauce! They have many healthy salads and wraps as well! So if your looking for a quick meal, and friendly service and are over burger king and mcd's this is a great choice.. Parking is a pain, and at lunch you can wait a bit as it is busy!
